The All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully concluded its wards and local government congresses across the state, with delegates expressing satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the exercises.
The congresses, held in various locations, saw a high turnout of party members and were characterised by calm and orderly proceedings.
The events were closely monitored by party officials and observers, who commended the efforts of the electoral committees in ensuring a smooth process.
The chairman of the APC ward and local government congresses committee, Professor David Yakubu, who led other members of the committee to oversee the process, praised the party members for their commitment to democratic principles and peaceful coexistence.
He expressed confidence that the successful conduct of the congresses would pave the way for a united and victorious party in the upcoming elections.
David Yakubu noted that the peaceful conduct of the congresses is a significant achievement for the party, demonstrating its ability to manage internal processes and build consensus among party members.
Also speaking, the chairman screening appeal committee, Dr. Francis Okoye, lauded the exercise and commended the party unity in the state.
The actual conduct of the congresses was managed by the ward and local government congresses committee, led by Engineer Dr Murtala R. Abedarma and other seven members who attributed the smooth operation across all the one hundred and seventy-eight political wards to the cooperative environment fostered by the state’s leadership of the party.
Abedarma applauded Governor Mai Mala Buni for coordinating the party at both state and national levels.
Earlier, the APC state chairman Alhaji Mohammad Gadaka said the state party working committee was convinced of the support from various committee chairmen.
Gadaka expressed gratitude to Governor Mai Mala Buni for providing an enabling environment for carrying out all the party members’ activities alone.
