Receiving the delegation, Ambode lauded the professionals in his party led by the council’s director- general, Hon. Seyi Bamigbade, for finding it necessary to felicitate with him in ushering in the New Year.

He also urged the delegation to remain good ambassadors of the party and Nigeria in general.

Earlier, Bamigbade on behalf of the delegation saluted the former Governor Ambode for his contribution in enhancing the status of Lagos as a modern mega city.

He pointed out that Ambode’s numerous contributions to the development of Lagos cannot be overemphasized, saying the economic prosperity of the state was well galvanized during his tenure as the state governor.
