APC Recommits To Stronger Nigeria/Ethiopia Ties

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has restated its commitment to ensuring the deepening of ties between Nigeria and Ethiopia.

Nigeria’s ruling APC made the pledge to the Ethiopia Prosperity Party in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia during the latter’s second congress.

The APC deputy national chairman (North), Dr Ali Bukar Dalori, in his speech, emphasised the shared vision of progress, unity, and development between the two nations and their political parties.

Speaking on behalf of APC national chairman Dr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, Dalori highlighted the historic and enduring relationship between Nigeria and Ethiopia, rooted in mutual respect, shared values, and common aspirations.

He noted that the bond between the two nations has been strengthened through decades of cooperation in diplomacy, trade, and cultural exchange.

While conveying Nigerian President Bola Tinubu’s goodwill, the APC leader also underscored the alignment of goals between the APC and the Prosperity Party.

He said both parties are dedicated to uplifting their citizens, fostering economic growth, promoting inclusive governance, and building prosperous futures for their respective countries.

The event, attended by high-ranking officials of the Prosperity Party, including President Abiy Ahmed, Deputy Presidents Mr Temesgen Tiruneh and Mr Adem Farah, members of various committees, and delegates from local and international political parties, marked a significant moment in the deepening relationship between Nigeria and Ethiopia.
