The endorsement followed a media tour of completed and ongoing projects undertaken by the Kaduna State government in Kaura LGA which took place at the weekend.

The tour, covering key sectors such as health, education and road infrastructure, was led by the chairman of the local government, Mr Obadiah Sankyai. He was accompanied by notable figures including the state commissioner for Internal Security, Barr James Kanyip; the commissioner for Sports, Prof Benjamin Gugwong; a former local government chairman and dedicated party loyalists.

Speaking with journalists after the inspection, Sankyai highlighted Governor Sani’s genuine commitment to grassroots development which he said has endeared him to the people of Kaura.

The stakeholders showcased various initiatives including newly upgraded primary healthcare centres across several communities, the renovation and construction of classrooms, and rural road projects designed to link hard-to-reach areas – all aimed at improving access to essential services and stimulating economic growth.

On his part, Prof Gugwong added that the administration remains committed to establishing a solid foundation for youth development, sports promotion and social cohesion.

The APC loyalists at the event pledged their full support for Governor Sani’s second term aspiration, vowing to enhance grassroots mobilisation efforts in Kaura.

The tour, which also celebrated the governor’s achievements, concluded with chants of solidarity and a symbolic endorsement, reaffirming Kaura LGA as a stronghold for the governor’s re-election campaign in 2027.
