The ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has stormed the Bagwai-Shanono Constituency to campaign for the upcoming State House of Assembly by-election.
The deputy Senate president Barau Jibrin, led the event, which took place at Shanono town yesterday. Other stakeholders of the ruling party in the state were also present.
“It is time to show your support for the ruling party with what you have been enjoying of the reforms introduced by the administration”, he stated.
The team was in Shanono to campaign for Ahmad Kademu as a State House of Assembly member, Bagwai-Shanono.
The election replaces the late member Abubakar Kundila, who died after being elected to the State House of Assembly.
Supplementary elections will also be held at Gari and Tsanyawa for the members of the House of Assembly.
In his speech, the Deputy Senate President reminded the attendants of President Bola Tinubu’s government’s reform policies and assured them of the success of the renewed hope agenda.
In his speech, the Chairman of the House of Representatives’ Appropriation Committee, Abubakar Kabir Bichi, assured the constituents that the Tinubu administration has set aside N10 billion for the construction of a road from Bichi to Bagwai to Shanono to Gwarzo in Kano state.
