The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has picked Grace Oluwatobi Coker as its deputy governorship candidate for the 2027 Lagos State governorship election.
Coker emerged as the running mate to the party’s governorship candidate, Prince Laja Adeoye, ahead of the election.

Reacting to her nomination, Coker described her emergence as an honour and responsibility, expressing appreciation to the party leadership, supporters and residents of Lagos State for the confidence reposed in her.

She also thanked Adeoye for choosing her as his running mate, describing him as her leader, mentor and principal.
Coker pledged to work closely with Adeoye and the party leadership to secure victory for the APM in the 2027 governorship election.

She also acknowledged the contributions of the party’s national, state, local government, ward and polling unit structures, as well as other stakeholders and candidates, towards the party’s preparations for the election.

The deputy governorship candidate commended members of the campaign team, volunteers and supporters for their commitment and sacrifices, saying their contributions would be crucial to the party’s electoral success.

Coker further appreciated her family, friends and associates for their support throughout her political journey.

She also thanked the people of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area, her home constituency, and Lagos residents for their trust and support, assuring them that she would not take the confidence reposed in her for granted.
