Territorial Archbishop of Calabar, Josef Bassey, has lauded Governor Bassey Otu on his administration’s second anniversary, attributing the milestone to divine ordination.
The cleric described the governor’s emergence as a “prophetic commissioning by the Hand of God” and commended his leadership style as a transformative moment for Cross River State.
The cleric who also founded God’s Heritage International ministry prayed for Gov. Otu’s continued success, declaring that the second half of his tenure would surpass the first in vision and execution.
He pledged the christian community’s spiritual and moral support, assuring the governor of their prayers and prophetic guidance.
Archbishop Bassey commended Governor Otu’s developmental reforms under the “People-First Governance” mantra, expressing gratitude for the “birthing of a new Cross River State aligned with heaven’s purpose.”
