LEADERSHIP reports that the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) had last week Tuesday grounded three aircraft from the fleet of the airline pursuant to a court order over a $2.5million debt owed Atlas Petroleum International Ltd.

However, in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP on Thursday, the chief executive officer, Arik Air Limited (in Receivership), Captain Roy Ilegbodu, said the Airlines will begin operations from Thursday, August 8, 2024.

According to him, the entire team of the airlines has been working tirelessly to enhance customers’ travel experience.

“Arik Air is excited to announce that we have today, August 8, 2024, resumed our flight operations. During our brief pause, we have been dedicated to ensuring a smooth and seamless return to service, preparing to welcome you back on board with the comfort and reliability you expect from us,” Capt. Ilegbodu stated.
