The appointment took effect from May 2023, according to a press statement issued by the head of corporate communications at Arila Group, Theodora Ibifuro Kio-Lawson.

Esoimeme, a management strategist with over 25 years of experience, comes with a track record of driving multi-million-dollar sales growth and providing sales leadership in highly competitive industries and markets, including renewable energy, FMCG, and telecommunications.

Before joining Japtini Energy, he has worked with Dangote Group, Multichoice Africa, Startimes Nigeria, and Beebee Jump Solar International where, amongst other things, he supported several market expansion initiatives.

While at Japtini Energy, the new CEO will manage the overall operations of the company while providing direction and leadership for the organisation, Kio-Lawson said.
