He emphasised that his government is passionate about supporting the Armed Forces and Legionnaires, recognising their importance in achieving the state’s “Arise Agenda.”
Governor Eno also prayed for the army’s success and victory in their endeavours, including peacekeeping assignments.

The General Superintendent of Qua Iboe Church, Rev’d Ekpedeme Effanga, admonished the serving personnel of the Armed Forces to be diligent, stating that some biblical warriors who were faithful to their nation (Isreal) in being diligent and loyal during the reign of King David were highly recognised and had their names engraved on the roll of honour.

Drawing his homily from 2 Samuel 8:18-19, the cleric further emphasised that “loyalty must be in full percentage as he outlined key cardinal qualities that are required including diligence, loyalty and valour for those who desire to do self-assessment to ensure that they are faithful in their services both in military career and other fields of endeavour.
