Armed Robber Dies After Failed Attack On Kano Household

An armed robber lost his life after a botched attack in Dorayi Babba, Unguwar Jakada area of Kano after he broke into a family residence, wielding a knife in an attempt to steal from the occupants.

The suspect, identified as Musa Nuhu, reportedly gained entry into the house and attacked the residents, resulting in inflicting injuries on two women.

However, a male member of the family confronted the attacker in a fierce struggle that left both men injured.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Kano State Police Command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, disclosed the development in a brief statement on his official Facebook page.

“The suspect was overpowered after a courageous resistance by the victim.

“He (the robber) was taken to the hospital for treatment but was later confirmed dead due to the injuries he sustained,” the statement read.
