Art X Prize Opens Call For Entries

The Access Art X has opened call for its 2023 edition of the competition.

The prize empowers early-career artists of African origin and in diaspora, offering them opportunities to enhance their artistic practices, with the goal of advancing them towards global success.

This year, two early career artists: one Nigerian winner, will be awarded with three months residency at Gasworks London, with a $10,000 grant towards an exhibition at ART X Lagos 2024, and an invaluable opportunity for mentorship and cultural exchange; while another African artist one in Diaspora winner, will be awarded a three months residency at Yinka Shonibare’s GAS Foundation, Lagos, a $10,000 grant towards an exhibition at Art X Lagos 2024, and an invaluable opportunity for mentorship and cultural exchange.

Entries are open from September 20 to October 18, 2023.
