Asake Releases Third Album ‘Lungu Boy’

Award-winning Afrobeats artiste, Ahmed Ololade popularly known as Asake, has released his third music album entitled ‘Lungu Boy’.

The album featured seven songs a good number of which are singles he has been releasing from the late last year to the second quarter of 2024, in collaboration with international artistes.

They include ‘MMS’ featuring Nigeria’s very own Wizkid, ‘Wave’ ft British rapper Central Cee, ‘Whine’ ft Ludmilla, ‘Active’ with American singer Travis Scott, and ‘Suru’ ft Stormzy. Other songs on the album are ‘Start’, ‘Mood’, ‘My Heart’, ‘Worldwide’, ‘Skating’, ‘Mentally’, ‘Uhh Yeahh’, ‘I Swear’, and ‘Ligali’. To spice things up, Asake included a touch of his artistic Fuji Fusion sound ‘Fuji Vibe’ as a bonus for Fuji fans to vibe to.

Lungu Boy gives listeners a sneak peek into the singer’s thoughts whilst touching on important facets of human life like fame, patience, hard work, and pleasure.

Following the success of his previous two albums ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’ and ‘Work of Art’, Asake has received praises for his eclectic approach to music and depth to songwriting, building a cult base of aficionados and critics alike.

With Lungu Boy already generating rave reviews, the Sungbalaja crooner who has created his own music style with his distinct vocal and harmonies, is currently on a World Tour of Lungu Boy.
