Our correspondent reports that the development is part of his commitment to strengthening community safety, improving response capacity, and fostering peace within the area.

The federal lawmaker, in a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Jos, identified key security infrastructures that urgently require intervention.

According to the statement, the top of the list of these interventions is the rehabilitation and renovation of the Gada Biu Police Station, which serves as a critical security hub within Jos North.

The renovation project aims to ensure that the facility meets modern policing standards, provides a conducive working environment for officers, and enhances the capacity of security personnel to respond effectively to the community’s needs.

According to the statement, the effort is among several strategic moves by the federal lawmaker to support security agencies and ensure that law and order are maintained and strengthened for the overall safety and development of the constituency.

He further pointed out that security is the foundation for sustainable development. As such, his office will continue collaborating with relevant authorities to revamp additional security outposts and community policing structures in the Bassa/Jos North federal constituency.
