President of the National Association of Hair and Beauty Practitioners of Nigeria (NAPON), Tina Doofan Orjir, has felicitated with Nigerians on her 65th Independence anniversary.
Orjir, in a goodwill message on behalf of NAPON, urged the citizens to reflect on the nation’s history, resilience and shared aspirations.
She said Nigeria’s strength had always been anchored on unity, diversity and the determination of her people to succeed against all odds.
According to her, the nation’s beauty lies not only in its land and resources but also in the creativity and industriousness of its citizens.
“As we mark this milestone, let us recommit ourselves to building a stronger country by fostering peace, togetherness, and mutual respect,” she said.
The NAPON president reaffirmed the association’s commitment to uniting practitioners in the hair and beauty industry, promoting professionalism and sanitising the sector.
She maintained that industries must thrive for nations to prosper, adding that the body would continue to empower members and add value to Nigeria’s creative economy.
