In his valedictory speech, Mr Ale, reflected on his tenure, highlighting the achievements and challenges faced by the association and expressed gratitude to members for their support and cooperation, noting that his team worked tirelessly to promote the interests of water well drilling practitioners in Nigeria.

He urged the incoming executives to sustain the momentum and continue to engage with government and other stakeholders to address the nation’s water challenges.

On his part, the incoming president, Prof Ajeni Okunlola, pledged to build on the foundations laid by his predecessor, outlined his vision for AWDROP, and emphasized the need for enhanced capacity building, advocacy, and collaboration with stakeholders to address the nation’s water supply challenges.

Prof Ajeni also vowed to strengthen the association’s institutional framework, ensure transparency and accountability, and promote sustainable practices in the water well drilling industry.
