Kebbi State Deaf Teachers Association (KBSDTA) has appealed to the state House of Assembly to urgently build a school for people with special needs in Zuru.
Chairman of the association, Malam Hamza Rumu, made the request when he led members of the association on a courtesy visit to the chairman, House Committee on Basic and Secondary Education, Hon Mohammed Garba Bena, in Birnin Kebbi.
According to Rumu, the school would help youths with special needs to obtain qualitative education.
Responding, Hon. Muhammed Garba Bena applauded the association’s initiative and assured them of his committee’s support.
