As campuses reopened after the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) called off its eight-month-old strike, some students have told our correspondent that some of their colleagues are returning to school with unwanted pregnancies.

It was gathered that some of the students, who came to Enugu to do some vocational jobs, including sales, were impregnated by their bosses.

Apart from those who secured temporary jobs, some of the students who were allegedly lonely at home, fell into the traps of neighbours and became pregnant.

It was further learnt that some of the female students who were frustrated by the protracted strike went into unplanned marriages and got pregnant.
