Atalanta have rejected Inter Milan’s opening proposal of €40 million for Nigerian striker Ademola Lookman.

According to football transfer specialist, Fabrizio Romano, Atalanta is pressing for at least €50 million from Inter Milan for Lookman’s signing.

“Inter (Milan) informed Atalanta about their opening €40m bid for Ademola Lookman, while Atalanta insist on fee at least reaching €50m,” Romano posted on X.

“Lookman wants to leave and hope club will facilitate his exit but Atalanta keep their position on no green light to Italian clubs at €40m.”

Lookman has already made it clear that he wants to leave Atalanta this summer.
