The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi (ATBU) has commended the efforts of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) in the tremendous successes recorded in both infrastructural and human capital development in Nigerian universities.

Over the years, ATBU benefitted from several TETFUND projects with a lot of gigantic structures constructed and lecturers sponsored to pursue higher degrees.

The head of information and public relations unit of the university, Zailani Bappa, said this in an interview in Bauchi.

He said ATBU has absolute confidence in the government’s effort and commitment to funding university education in Nigeria, especially through TETFUND.

“We are happy with the federal government, especially its agency, TETFUND, for its ability to continue funding Nigerian universities,” he said.
