Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar visited two former Nigerian military leaders, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) and General Abdulsalami Abubakar yesterday.
Atiku had closed-door sessions with them.

LEADERSHIP gathered that Atiku came straight from Yola, Adamawa State, where he celebrated his Sallah, to have a separate closed-door session with the two leaders.
While details of the discussions were not made public, sources said they centred on the state of nation.

However, sources close to the IBB said, “Like others, Atiku paid Sallah homage. You know we’re still in Sallah’s mood. There was nothing special about his visit.”

Another source close to Abdulsalami hinted that” there is nothing political about the visit. It is a normal visit, a Sallah homage. You know General Abdulsalami does not play politics.”

The media office of the former vice president confirmed the visit through a picture Atiku had with his hosts.
