Wife of the former vice president and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the February 2023 election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Princess Rukayya, has told Nigerians that her husband is more committed to fixing the country than other presidential candidates.
Princess Rukayya, at a PDP Women Summit in the North-Central called on all Nigerians to massively vote for her husband.
According to her, Nigeria can still be great with the right person at the helm of affairs, despite the challenges of today.
She said, “Let me begin by saying thank you to everyone here for taking out the time to make the journey here. The fact that you are all here shows that you are committed to making our country great again. You are here because you all believe in what this country can be. In the face of war, you believe there can be peace. In the face of despair, you believe there can be hope. In the face of a politics that has repeatedly disappointed you, that has divided us for too long, you believe we can be one people. Let me tell you why I’m here today.”
