Atlantic Hall Drama Club Thrills Audience In Osofisan’s Midnight Hotel

The drama club of Atlantic Hall School held its 27th drama presentation at the Agip Recital Hall of MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos

The ten-man cast on Friday evening of February 2026 delivered a sterling performance of the play in Prof Femi Osofisan’s book titled Midnight Hotel.

The book, Midnight Hotel – play format, exposes fundamental vices such as corruption, deception, moral decadence, obsession with power and fame and religious hypocrisy, highlighting how these ills have affected all facets of our political and economic life right from independence to the present-day democratic era.

At the MUSON Centre, students of Atlantic Hall School weaved the drama in the play with music and the dance as Olomojobi Christopher, who played the role of Jimoh, the hotel receptionist and administration office, with his assistant Bicycle, played by Aletor Onoyeose, showcased talent and wittiness as they hilariously interacted with other casts on how a hotel business should not be run.

The audience, which included parents and the school’s management board on the night, also had the author, Prof Osofisan, present at the event, and he commended the cast and crew for the great work and delivery.

The drama presentation showcases the abundance of talent among our youth, which can be honed and developed into the value chain of the creative economy.
