Azonobi, Ibrahim Ibrahim, Others For African Icon Awards

President of Domak Group International, Kingsley Mike Azonobi, has been announced as the keynote speaker for the 2024 edition of the African Icon Awards.

DG Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative, Amb Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim, the president of Gee-lec International Football Academy of Jos, and many other dignitaries are also expected to play crucial roles at the event.

The African Icon Awards, a Face of African Concept project, is scheduled to take place in Abuja on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Merit House Abuja.

The theme for this year’s event is “The Power of African Youth in Leadership,” the 2024 edition is the 9th in the series.

It is aimed at recognising Africans who have distinguished themselves in various facets of life by contributing to the advancement and development of Africa.

The awards celebrate men and women from across the continent who have demonstrated exceptional patriotism, excellence, leadership skills, and talents in civil governance, the entertainment industry, technology, and other fields of endeavour.

The organisers also announced Comedian Stainless Precious as chief host and Mc Dreams as co-host ahead of the event.

The project director, Ambassador Abraham Lawal, who announced this in a statement, noted that about 28 individuals are set to be honoured.

Notable awardees include Dr. Kingsley Mike Azonobi, president of Domak Group International; Amb. Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim, DG of Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative; and Mr. Izzul-Arab Garba Ibrahim, President of Gee-lec International Football Academy of Jos.

Others are Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor, MD/CEO of Reapfold Properties Ltd; Amb. Ayomikun Adebayo, CEO of Fab Realty and Tourism Ltd; Cwesi Oteng Desmond, CEO of COD Construction & Engineering; Flemming Rontved, CEO of Face of Domak; Hajiya Aisha Lami Abdulsalam, CEO of Avada Couture Academy, Abuja; Chief Otunba Abdullah Rufai Odusami, CEO of Rufab Investment Ent. and others.
