The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) yesterday hosted a book reading event at Harold Dappa Hall, Golden Tulip Hotel, Onopa Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, which featured “Writing for Media and Monetizing It”.

The book was written by Azu Ishiekwene, a renowned Nigerian journalist, author, and columnist who is the editor-in-chief of LEADERSHIP Newspaper, Abuja.

The session included a reading by the author, followed by a question-and-answer segment moderated by Doubra Timiwood.

The executive secretary of NCDMB, Engr Felix Omatsola Ogbe, was represented by the general manager of corporate communications/zonal coordination, Esueme Dan Kikile, who was accompanied by other members of the board to the event.

The event attracted a diverse audience, including the president of the Association of Nigerian Authors (Bayelsa chapter), Murphy Biriabebe and other members of the chapter, student representatives from Federal University, Otuoke and Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, as well as other dignitaries.
