Bala, Buni Dissolve Cabinets, Commend Commissioners, Others

Ahead of their inauguration for second term on Monday, Bauchi State governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed and his Yobe State counterpart Mai Mala Buni have dissolved their cabinets.

Speaking at the Council Chamber of the Government House, Bauchi, the governor appreciated members of the state executive council for the efforts they made towards making the state great again.

He said all the accomplishments recorded by his administration is a collective success of the members of the executive council.

“We are not going away. Whatever we did, we did it together. The achievements made is a credit to state executive council. We have won so many laureates. But it is still work in progress. We not there yet. We thank God for this special moment full of passion,” he said.

Governor Bala added that, “this is the last day we are going to meet. Everybody will have an opportunity to express their minds.”

Buni commended members of the State Executive Council (SEC) for their contributions to the success of the administration in the last four years.

Speaking at the valedictory session, he stated that the cabinet members were instrumental to the success of the administration as well as the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 general election.

In their response, the commissioner for wealth creation, empowerment and employment generation, Hon. Abdullahi Bego, on behalf his colleagues, said Governor Buni who chaired the last Exco was full of joy over the team’s work.

He said the governor was very pleased with his cabinet for their individual and collective contributions to the success of the administration in the last four years.
