He stated this when he received the emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu and other traditional title holders on a Sallah homage at the Government House, Bauchi.

The governor, who acknowledged the role of the traditional institution and community leaders in maintenance of peace across the state maintained that such effort should not go unnoticed.

He expressed satisfaction with this year’s colourful Durbar procession and urged them to maintain the age-long tradition.

In his remarks, the emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu, who noted that they were at Government House to pay Sallah homage to the governor expressed delight for the successful completion of Ramadan fasting.
