Ballerina 2023: New Netflix Film Threads On Revenge

The new South Korean action movie `Ballerina’, is now streaming on Netflix globally.

The South Korean entertainment industry is slowly growing to worldwide dominance, as Kpop, Korean movies like Parasite and Minari, and Korean television series take the world by storm.

Ballerina was directed and written by Chung-Hyun Lee, known for other productions like The Call and the miniseries Born to Spy.

The story follows the former bodyguard Ok-ju, who, while grieving the loss of her best friend, whom she couldn’t protect, sets out to fulfill the deceased’s final wish: to seek revenge.

The R-rated movie’s cast includes; Jun Jong-seo, Kim Ji-hun, Park Yu-rim, Kim Moo-yul and Shin Se-hwi.
