In a bid to strengthen joint operations in the fight against banditry in Niger State, the commander 013 Quick Response Force (QRF), Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Minna, Niger State, Group Captain Austine Idoko, has called for enhanced synergy with the Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA).
Group Captain Idoko made the call when he paid a familiarisation visit to Commander TRADOC NA, Major General Kevin Aligbe, in Minna.
While appreciating the commander’s level of cooperation and support TRADOC NA has been rendering to NAF Minna over the years, he requested more collaboration to enable him to effectively perform NAF roles throughout the reign of leadership as Commander 013 QRF.
He declared thus, “As part of the effort to improve on the already established relationship and mutual understanding between TRADOC NA and 013 ORF NAF, which are among the critical stakeholders in the operational environment, upon assumption of command, embark on a courtesy visit on the stakeholders within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) for improved operational collaboration and coordination of military duties”.
As part of his visit, he sought more strategic guidance from the Commander TRADOC NA, adding that Maj Gen Aligbe is one of the senior officers of the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) at the strategic level, with extensive knowledge and experience.
He, therefore, said the need for him to come for the visit is of great importance to strategic guidance and collaboration.
In his response, the Commander TRADOC, Maj Gen Kevin Aligbe, reassured the Commander 013 QRF of maximum support at all times, especially in training, operational engagements, and even logistics support at the disposal of TRADOC NA.
He also urged Commander 013 QRF to keep him posted on any intervention he might require from TRADOC NA.
