Bandits Kill Pastor, Church Member In Katsina

Tragedy struck in Yaribori community of Kafur local government area of Katsina State, as bandits stormed Bege Baptist Church and killed the presiding pastor, Rev. Emmanuel Na’Allah, during a worship session.

The gunmen, who launched the attack on Monday night, also killed another church member, identified as Mallam Samaila Gidan Taro, before abducting a female worshipper.

The incident was reported by Katsina-based journalist and insecurity tracker, Bakatsine, via his verified X handle.

He wrote, “Yesterday (Monday) night, bandits attacked Bege Baptist Church in Yaribori community, Kafur LGA, Katsina State. They killed the church pastor, Rev. Emmanuel Na’allah, and a member, Mallam Samaila Gidan Taro, and abducted a woman during the attack.”

When contacted, the state police command public relations officer ( PPRO) Sadiq Abubakar, said, ” I’ll get back to you.” As of the time of filing this report, he had not commented on the matter.
