Chairman, National Assembly Service Commission (NASC), Engr Ahmed Khadi, has pledged support for the Bauchi State House of Assembly to enhance parliamentary procedures and service delivery.
At a three-day visit that ended on Thursday, he discussed challenges such as budgetting and staff welfare and emphasised the need for executive support.
Both the Bauchi Assembly Service Commission and the speaker, Hon. Abubakar Sulaiman, expressed commitment to adopting national procedural standards and improving financial autonomy.
The visit also included inspections of key development projects in the state, highlighting collaborative efforts to strengthen legislative processes.
