The Civil Service Commission in Bauchi has dismissed one Sani Mohammed Tirwun, a secretarial assistant with the Hospitals Management Board for serious misconduct that included issuance of fake appointment letters.

Other acts Tirwun committed are illegal posting of illegal staff, faking of the board staff officer’s signature and altering of posting letters.

The offences, according to the commission, contradict Section 4 Rule 108 Item XV11, XIV, XV of the Bauchi State Public Service Regulation 2017 (reviewed version).

The offences are considered serious misconduct and liable to dismissal.

The information officer in the commission, Saleh Umar, in a press release yesterday, said  the board considered the dismissal during its plenary session held on October 5, 2023.
