The Bauchi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Isa Babayo Tilde, has charged staff to prioritise punctuality, productivity, and dedication to their duties to deliver efficient services to the state’s people.
Speaking to journalists yesterday shortly after assuming office, Tilde emphasised that these values are crucial for delivering efficient service to the public and strengthening the ministry’s reputation.
The commissioner assured his unwavering commitment to sustaining Governor Bala Mohammed’s trust and confidence which led to his elevation to a commissioner from being a special adviser.
“We must work together to meet the high expectations placed upon us by the governor and the people of Bauchi State,” he said.
The commissioner further stressed the importance of teamwork and a collective resolve to uphold excellence in governance. He warned against complacency and urged staff to consistently demonstrate professionalism and accountability.
Tilde’s call for improved work ethics comes amid ongoing efforts by Bauchi government to enhance service delivery and governance across the state.
