CP Mohammed also tasked the outfits to strictly adhere to the rule of law and refrain from any transgression.

The Bauchi CP gave the warning during a meeting with the quasi-security outfits across the state in a bid to sensitise the entire local security community on issues related to their mode of operations.

A statement by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Ahmed Wakil on Wednesday, said the meeting followed an appraisal conducted on their activities and discovery of human rights violations in the mode of operations.

The CP then mandated all the security outfits across the state to step up the sensitisation of their members.
