Speaking yesterday at a Ramadan Iftar with permanent secretaries and senior civil servants at the Government House in Bauchi, the governor emphasised that enhancing remuneration and overall welfare remains a top priority for his administration.

Governor Mohammed highlighted ongoing reforms aimed at ensuring effective and timely implementation of people-oriented policies and programmes.

He stressed that the civil service is the backbone of any administration’s success in delivering democratic dividends, underscoring the importance of continuous workforce training and retraining to boost productivity.

“As a former civil servant, I understand the significance of the service in achieving great milestones. That is why I am committed to restoring its lost glory in Bauchi,” he said.
