Bauchi Gov Reappoints Gidado As Media Aide

Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of Bauchi state has reappointed Mukhtar Mohammed Gidado as his special adviser on media and publicity.

According to the appointment letter signed by Danjuma Garba, permanent secretary/general services department for secretary to the state government, Gidado will remain and continue to serve as the special adviser on media and publicity to the governor.

It read in part, “To inform you that His Excellency, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, (Kauran Bauchi), the Executive Governor of Bauchi State has approved your exemption from the disengagement order.

“Accordingly, you are to remain and continue serving as the special adviser, media and publicity.”

Garba said exemption Gidado came best on his track records, hard work, truth worthiness, dedication, commitment as well as his wealth of experience.

“It is therefore expected that you would continue to bring these qualities to bear in the discharge of this onerous responsibility and justify the confidence repose in you.”

The governor had on Thursday, May 25, 2023, dissolved his cabinet of commissioners and special advisers as well as other political office holders.
