Bauchi State is gearing up to host its 2025 Investment Summit with the goal of attracting both local and international investors towards transforming key sectors of the state’s economy.

The chairman of the summit planning committee, Prof. Murtala Sagagi, revealed this while addressing journalists on the preparations for the event.

He stated that the state is endowed with immense opportunities capable of empowering youths, women, and vulnerable groups, while also positioning Bauchi to compete with its counterparts across the country.

Prof. Sagagi highlighted the critical elements being considered to ensure the success of the summit to include logistics, collaboration with development partners, and engagement with international organisations willing to invest in Bauchi State.

According to him, the summit is expected to take place in the second quarter of this year, pending approval from the state Governor, Bala Mohammed.
