One of the housemates of the DoubleKay Pair in the Big Brother Naija Season 9, Kassia has reacted to the NdiNne pair’s eviction from the ongoing reality TV show on Sunday night.

LEADERSHIP earlier reported the shock and disbelief that momentarily pervaded the BBNaija House when the NdiNne Pair was evicted. The Aunt and Niece duo was in the bottom four pairs alongside Radicals, Zinwe and Flourish but was sent packing by the reigning Custodians at the time, Streeze, who picked an “evict only” box during Sunday’s eviction live show.

However, reacting to their eviction during a conversation with fellow housemates later on Sunday night, Kassia said NdiNne’s eviction was shocking because the pair was the reigning Head of House (HoH).

“Immediately Ebuka called them (NdiNne), I was telling Kelly that, ‘God forbid. From Head of House to your house,” she said, sparking laughter.

LEADERSHIP also reports that one of the twists added to the 2024 edition of BBNaija ‘No Loose Guard’ edition is that unlike the previous Seasons, the Head of House position in this season 9 is not immune to eviction. Only the Custodians in the House and the winners of the Immunity Challenge are exempted from eviction for the week.
