The Big Brother Naija Season 9 ‘No Loose Guard’ housemates, WanniXHandi, have emerged as the latest Custodians for the third week of the reality TV show.
Players were assigned four footpads, two behind and two in front. At the sound of the buzzer, players step into the first set of foot pad, proceed to the next and then move the one behind ahead and continue that way until the finish line. Players’ feet are not to touch the ground and they are to flip the disc on the table at the finish line to indicate they are done.
At the end of the first round, Beta, Flourish, WAnniXHandi , Chekas, Mbadiwe twins and Streeze pairs qualified for the next round.
For the second round, the finalists climbed a seesaw to get to a table where they retrieved six items on the stool one by one, after which the items assembled on the disc they flipped. Players who want to refresh their memory must walk the seesaw to see the reference image kept for them.
The custodian challenge, a high-stakes competition in which housemates vie for a coveted title, is a game-changer. Played every Sunday after the live eviction show since the first day of the reality TV show, the winning pair secures immunity against eviction for the week and inherits the mystery card.
The card, which will be kept secret until the next Sunday’s live eviction show, holds power that could influence nominations or evictions, adding a thrilling layer of suspense and strategy to the game.
With the win, WanniXHandi duo has gained immunity and is automatically exempted from possible eviction from the BBNaija 9 House in the next Sunday’s eviction show.
They are also empowered to influence nominations of other housemates for possible eviction at the weekend.
The winning duo is decorated with the custodian badge and given the custodian box.
