The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye, has called for support for a daughter of the State and housemate in the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality TV show, Ilebaye, ahead of the grand finale.

Melaye, a two-time member of the National Assembly, made the call after the father of the BBNaija All-Stars housemate paid him a visit at his Abuja residence on Monday.

LEADERSHIP reports that the PDP governorship candidate is the only contestant with a female deputy governorship candidate in the forthcoming November 11, 2023 Kogi State election.

Taking to his verified social media handles on Monday night to post photograph of the visit by Ilebaye’s father to his residence, Melaye declared that he will vote for the Kogi-born housemate, who has already scaled the hurdles to the ‘Top 5’ position of the reality TV show.

He described the female BBNaija Season 8 housemate and current Head of House (HoH) as “our own”, hence a vote for her was for the whole of Kogi State.

Melaye wrote: “With the proud father of Ilebaye of Big Brother Naija. We all support our own. I will vote for Kogi State….vote Ilebaye.”

Recall that Ilebaye and CeeC on Monday night joined Cross to qualify for the grand finale of the reality TV show slated for Sunday, October 1, 2023.
