A heated altercation erupted on Thursday in the tenth season of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show between housemates Zita and Mide.

The dispute escalated from a verbal disagreement over food into a near-violent physical confrontation involving a pot and a knife.

Drama began with a disagreement over carrots in the communal kitchen. The situation quickly deteriorated as tempers flared, leading to an exchange of harsh words and an alarming physical confrontation.

Despite prior warnings from Biggie to maintain decorum and avoid violence, Zita was seen grabbing a cooking pot and striking Mide’s hand twice while Mide was holding a knife.

“You hit me with the pot,” Mide was heard shouting in response, visibly shocked and holding her hand.

Zita called Mide a “dumb a$$ b*tch” and taunted her by saying, “Talk… there is nothing in your head, talk,” after Mide expressed a desire not to speak further.

In intense tension, fellow housemate Danboskid intervened and led Zita away from the scene, while Bright Morgan quickly stepped in to calm Mide and remove her from the conflict.

The incident has divided the house, with fans and housemates alike taking sides.

Some were defending Zita’s actions as self-defence.

In contrast, others argue that using a pot to strike a fellow housemate crosses a clear line, especially after repeated warnings from Big Brother.

Meanwhile, viewers are already speculating about possible penalties or disqualification for this act, as Big Brother has historically taken a firm stance against physical violence within the house.
