Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, has urged Nigerian women to be bold and industrious in addition to managing their homes.

Henshaw stated this on Monday while speaking at the fourth annual conference of the Kilali Tribe, an all female inspirational platform in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

She said: “I told the women that making bold moves can be lonely. It is something that will take you away from your comfort but change has never come from a place of comfort.

“Women, being who we are, are multi-layed human beings. We have our families to take care of, we have ourselves to take care of, we have our children, we have our peace. We have that time to show who we are.

“But, it shouldn’t stop you from being who you are. I don’t mean that if you are bold, you are ambitious, you have all of that, you lose your humanity, you lose your ability to be kind, ability to help another woman. I see nothing absolutely wrong in being bold.

“Being bold, you show other women that in order to get to this height and be more. If anybody is scared about taking that move, just tell them that life is a risk. If you don’t take risks, you can never make it in life.”
