Bank & Entrepreneur Africa (B&E), a prominent entrepreneurship magazine in Nigeria, renowned for its editorial emphasis on entrepreneurial innovation, has introduced a robust online initiative aimed at combating unemployment in the country.
The newly launched #ItsToughEnough initiative is designed to leverage the expertise of world-leading entrepreneurial experts to guide individuals in Africa, particularly in Nigeria, from the conceptual or uncertain stage to establishing viable businesses.
To achieve this, B&E recently secured its initial #ItsToughEnough partnerships with Marc Goldberg, the founder of Marc Goldberg Photograph, and Precious L. Williams, the founder of Perfect Pitches. Both experts have volunteered to share their wealth of knowledge with ambitious Nigerians through virtual knowledge transfer sessions scheduled for February 2024.
In a press statement made available to LEADERSHIP at the weekend, B&E Africa publisher, Anne N. Agbakoba, asserted that the initiative aims to contribute to a vibrant and successful Nigeria by supporting various government efforts.
“Our goal is to trigger an entrepreneurial boom, increase the percentage of female entrepreneurs, establish a leading economy, and achieve impressive rankings on both the Global Competitiveness and the Human Development Indices,” she said.
Agbakoba continued, “#It’sToughEnough will continue to engage experts we encounter in our work for the benefit of Africans. We recognize the continent’s immense potential to emerge as a viable, successful, developing, and emerging economy. It’s time to focus on thriving exceptionally.”
