A Port Harcourt-based cleric, Pastor Akeem Idoniboye, has told Christians that it is only those who begin early that will make meaningful achievements in the year 2025.
Idoniboye, who is the lead pastor of the Glorious Destiny Family Church, stated this yesterday while preaching a sermon at the church’s auditorium in Borokiri, Port Harcourt.
Preaching on the topic: “The Power of Pursuit,” the cleric stated that those going far do not stop at every junction along the road, pointing out that it is only runners that gain speed.
He said: “The people who say they are not competing with anybody often don’t succeed in life. Anything that you don’t pursue, you don’t possess. Anything you don’t pursue, you don’t want it. The prove of desire is pursuit. If you are not pursuing it, you never desired it.
“Men who pursue are men who are not satisfied with their present position. No matter what level of life you have lived, there is still higher level to pursue. There are certain level of restlessness for people who want more.
“If you don’t pursue anything, you don’t get anything, no matter how prayerful you are. It is only runners that gain speed. Those going far do not stop at every junction. If you are going far this year, this is the time to begin running.”
