A new petroleum logistics company, Bellazir Energy, has been launched with the aim of addressing inefficiencies in fuel distribution across Nigeria.
The company, founded by Christabel Chioma Aniemeka, will focus on last-mile delivery of petroleum products using technology-driven solutions.
The launch event, held in Lagos, brought together regulators, stakeholders, and members of the energy sector.
Aniemeka said the decision to enter the petroleum logistics space was informed by the need to close existing gaps in fuel accessibility and reliability.
“I never imagined owning a petroleum product delivery company, but destiny charted this path,” she said.
The company plans to prioritize safety, timeliness, and environmental sustainability in its operations, though it has not yet disclosed its operational rollout plan.
Stakeholders at the event highlighted the need for more efficient logistics systems in Nigeria’s downstream oil sector, where delays and distribution bottlenecks remain common.
Aniemeka, who has a background in computer science and business administration, is affiliated with several professional bodies, including the Women in Energy Network and the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria.
