Benue APC Stakeholders Tip Akpakwu For Minister

As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu prepares to appoint ministers into his cabinet, Concern Benue APC Stakeholders have appealed for the nomination of Consul Emmanuel Akpakwu MFR, for ministerial position.

The group said Akpakwu is a reknown technocrat and complete gentleman of high integrity and standard who have served the country in various capacities and has contributed to the growth and prosperity of this nation through his countless fiscal interventions to the less privileged Nigerians.

 

In a statement signed by the Coordinator of the group, Jackson Alfa Oloja said after an evaluation of Akpakwu’s qualifications, achievements, and commitment to the principles of good governance, the group unanimously endorsed him for Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“As stakeholders deeply invested in the progress and development of Benue State, we believe that Mr.Akpakwu possesses the necessary expertise, experience, and vision to contribute significantly to the growth and prosperity of our beloved Country. The nominee’s impeccable track record in the private sector, coupled with their strong dedication to the welfare of the people, has earned them our utmost confidence and trust.

 

“Furthermore, Emmanuel Akpakwu has proven to be a unifying figure, capable of fostering collaboration among various stakeholders and driving inclusive governance. These remarkable achievements in (relevant area of expertise) have garnered widespread recognition and accolades, making him a prime candidate for this important ministerial position.

 

Oloja in the statement called on all APC members, supporters, and the general public in Benue State to rally behind Emmanuel Akpakwu to succeed in this new role under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration. He urged all stakeholders to put aside partisan differences and prioritize the collective welfare and progress of the state and country. 

 

He said; “We express our gratitude to the Executive Governor of Benue state, Fr Hyacinth Alia, his Deputy and Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly while we salute the leadership of the All Progressives Congress for nominating an exceptional candidate, and we commend their commitment for selecting a man of high caliber and integrity for key positions of public service.”

Reeling out some of his credentials, the group said Akpakwu obtained a Diploma in Banking and Finance from Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Benue State and a degree in Political Science from National Open University of Nigeria. A former consultant with the Federal Government of Nigeria and a member of multiple learned professional organizations.
