The monarch made the condemnation when members of the Middle Belt Forum led by its President Dr Pogu Bitrus paid him a condolence visit in his palace in Gboko.

In a statement issued by the special assistant to the paramount ruler of the Tiv Nation on media /ICT Freddie Adamgbe, the monarch appreciated the forum for its concern which he described as a major consolation that lessened the despair of Benue people and could strengthen them.

The federal government in a condolence message to the government and people of Benue State on the recent attacks by the marauding herdsmen where over 130 persons were killed in 10 days, directed the security agencies to arrest the perpetrators of the dastardly act and bring them to book.
