Bichi To Harness Potential Of Hadejia River Basin

New managing director of the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority (HJRBDA), Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi, has expressed the eagerness to harness the potential of the authority in appreciation of his appointment.

He stated this in a statement on Friday in Kano to thank President Bola Tinubu and the chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje for his appointment.

He further expressed his commitment to working tirelessly to advance the renewed hope agenda of the president with passion for driving sustainable development and improving the lives of Nigerians.

“As the managing director of the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, I am eager to collaborate with all stakeholders to harness the potential of the authority.

“We will focus on improving food security and economic development in the region, leveraging the authority’s expertise in water resources management and agricultural development.

“You have demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to providing food security through your indomitable support of Agriculture by providing the necessary inputs to practical farmers.

“The tons of Fertilizer you have provided to farmers for this dry season farming is unprecedented and worthy of mention.

“Thank you again for this opportunity. I am proud to serve under your leadership and express my heartfelt gratitude for my appointment and indeed the appointments of other capable hands in the persons of Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, Baffa Dan Datti Abdulkadir, Hajia Zainab Gamawa, Tijjani Musa Isa and our Chairman Ma’amun Da’u Aliyu.
