The Anglican Bishop of Evo Diocese in Rivers State, Rt. Rev. Innocent Ordu, has applauded the paramount ruler of Woji Community in Obio/Akpor local government area of the state, Eze Emeka Ihunwo, for bringing peace and unity to the community.
Ordu gave the commendation yesterday while preaching a sermon at a thanksgiving service at Saint Nicholas Anglican Church, Woji, to mark Ihunwo’s 10th coronation anniversary.
“When the people are happy, the pastors are happy but when the people are wounded or injured, the pastors are injured. Your reign since the past 10 years has been characterised by a lot of achievements.
“In the past 10 years, there has been peace here. You have united the people. Your achievements have positively affected the men, the women and the youths of Woji community,” he said.
The Anglican Bishop, who said the thanksgiving service was for the celebration of God’s goodness and mercy to the traditional ruler, his family and Woji community, stated that there is nothing Ihunwo has done without involving the church.
