The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Kontogora and Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, has said that two parents have died because of the shock of their children’s Abduction.

The Bishop spoke yesterday while receiving the children from the Kontogora Diocese at the Niger state government delegation.

He said, “We remember and pray for the repose of the souls of Mr Anthony Musa and Mrs Gale Isa, whose illnesses suddenly worsened and led to their passing upon hearing the news of the kidnapping of their children”.

“We wish they were there today to receive their children.  May the souls of Anthony and Gale rest in perfect peace,” he added.

While thanking  President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Niger state government for the release of the children, he said that the children and teachers were not traumatised before reuniting with their parents and families.
